Magical Weekend

Originally my fiance and I were planning on going to the beach this weekend though the weather turned out pretty shitty so we didn't go. Instead we saw Star Trek: Into Darkness on Saturday (matinee, of course), and on Sunday we drove to Charlotte to go the Sky High Sports. Sky High Sports was pretty awesome, though it was really weird when we realized we were the only people over 18 that did not have children. I regret nothing.

After we left Sky High Sports, my fiance wanted to look at tools (because it's like looking at office supplies and other organizational things for me), so we went to two different tool shops. We ended up going into South Carolina for the second one. He had a pretty good time and was getting excited about eventually building a house and what his shop will look like one day. He even asked me if I would make him a binder for his shop! I almost died, it was so awesome.

Anyways, other than that, I'm struggling with trying to meet really bizarre requirements for Financial Aid so that I can finish my degree (expected in August, 2013) and leave this place. I owe an absurd amount of money (over $50k) and I'm looking forward to getting a real job where I can begin paying off my debt.

I know it's been a really long time since I've updated with anything real, so I figured I'd throw in some other stuff:
1. We started looking at buying a house.
2. We decided not to.
3. My fiance's grandfather died.
4. His dad and aunts agreed to let us live in his grandfather's house when we move back to the area.
5. My fiance agreed to let me get a dog when we move!
6. My neighbors are getting increasingly weirder.
7. I love the summer here because there aren't as many students and traffic isn't a disaster all the time.
8. I tried to become assistant manager at my job but the person I was trying to replace ended up not getting fired (even though everyone who works there things she should have).
9. I only have internship standing between me and my Masters.
10. My internship costs $2800 because I live 3 hours away (at least 2 hours closer than 75% of my cohort), but it's across a state line.

I'm really frustrated so I'm going to stop talking now.

With Love,
Elli
