And Now For Something Different
I know it's been a really long time since I actually typed up anything about my life. I'm sure you all are just dying to read it.
Well, school's getting ready to start next week. I'm really anxious to start my internship and supervision. I don't have many books, but basically all of my time is being eaten up by internship, class, GA stuff, and finding a job. I still have my old job, but I'm looking for something closer with more flexible hours for me. I'm really going to miss everyone there if I leave. It's really been the first place I've worked that I genuinely liked almost everybody.
In terms of school, one of the professors is pretty anti-technology and calls his students to inform them of changes. Interestingly enough, he's sending out 10 emails to us as I'm typing this with readings(?) and other information. There's an attachment on each one and we're up to "2 Sided Part 4." This is going to be good.
In other news, someone either attempted to break into my car and chickened out or some dumb asshole dropped something off the balcony into my car window. Either way, my window was broken and I'm pretty pissed. It got fixed today, though, at no charge to me so I guess I can't be super upset. I did miss two days of work because of it, though. Who knows.
I moved into town. I'm now down the street from my internship and very close to campus. That's looking good.
My GA job is to build a website. Yes, that's right. And a database. And possibly make it capable of storing user information (logins and whatnot). I'm kind of freaking out about that, too. I'm supposed to present it on October 1st. I could throw up just thinking about it.
Oh. There are children running back and forth across the balcony. Loudly. While yelling. Woo-fucking-hoo. I need a drink.
Well, I think that's about it for me at the moment. 2 Sided Part 6 just arrived! I hope you enjoyed hearing about my lackluster existence over the summer.
